I know that piano is fairly large but the guy putting it together makes it look small! I'm currently interested in this model vs the Kawai CA701 and would love to know what you guys think.

... ok we didn't c everything... I'm sure the electrical components would have been checked before starting to put this together/installing them(keyboard, pedals) in2 the frame..? No1 would leave this until the end of assembly ... to go through all the construction time & discover a 'dead' key...

My understanding is that Roland offer a 10-year, on-site repair & maintenance program, so if you put it together and find that you have a dead key, you call Roland and someone comes to your place and fixes it. OTOH, you may be completely correct, that they would have checked it before going through the entire assembly, but... that wasn't the point of the video.

      @@SeaDrive300 Hello... :)
      1. I want my new purchase replaced not repaired if it arrived faulty, send that package right back.
      2. I thort the purpose of the whole vid was to help customers put their new purchase together/easier ... to set it up & start playing... surely a quick 'electrical' check is, sorta, Number 1 Priority ? ... dead keyboard hinders playing - no matter how pretty it looks, perfectly constructed ... I'd agree to leave out the testing of the electric elements, if I'd solely purchased the cabinet ... but, tbf, I wouldn't want the cabinet without the keyboard. I'm more than happy for you to wait till the last to test your electrics ... but I think, for me, I'll make that 1st thing I do. Regds
nb I read all the instructions that come with, before I put anything together - hope that doesn't annoy u, but it usually saves time n effort in the long term.
